There's a story at the bottom of this bottle and I'm the pen[Juliet/Open]

The blond stood outside Madam Puddifoot's, waiting on Juliet to show up and have some tea with her. Gemini was really curious about this girl, and it was nice to have people she could call upon to hang out with again. Perhaps tea and coffee was their thing? Still sounded right to just invite her over here. The kids weren't running around a mile a minute trying to buy up everything or impress the girls, so at least it was less crowded. Diagon was packed with children getting ready for school.
Fingering her
necklace
, she looked down the street. Hmm. Was she early, or was Juliet late? Glancing at her watch, Gemini realized that yes, she was in fact a tad bit early...Too bad patience hadn't come to her as much as it should have. This would be fun though, did Juliet have a boyfriend? Gemini was still un dateable, too damn stubborn and free to be tied down to just one man after all. Ekovia, how was whatshisface? Her nephew was loads of fun, and Gemini thought it hysterical that he'd caught the mischief gene. The husband was a lot nicer to her now that he'd grown up and realized that when you marry the woman, you marry her family too.
Married. Gemini would probably never end up married...Whatever. She didn't need a steady man, she was strong enough on her own. Hell, try finding a man tall enough for her and her heels obsession first. Lou was all the man she needed, her wonderful hound. He watched movies with her, went out to eat with her, and was a very comfortable pillow on her lazy days. There. She would just grow old with her puppy.
While contemplating her life as a single woman, her blue eyes seemed to focus on nothing at all, completely zoned out. For a few moments there, she completely forgot she was out in public waiting on a friend.

Running was very difficult in
heels
, but it's what Julie needed to do. She hoped she wasn't late for meeting Gemini, but she had a feeling that she was. It was very nice of the town's people to move out of the way as she ran by. She hated being late, even though she would be right on time when she got to the tea shop. This time instead of leaving Sammy alone, Cyrus and his fiance were watching her. They said something about "preparing for the future" but all she heard was buzz as she threw an outfit together. It's not that she lived far away from the shop, it's just that she didn't think of apprating there. Actually, that would be a lot easier. That way she wouldn't show up a sweaty mess. So Julie stopped, thought of the tea shop, and poof, she was there. And right out front was Gemini. Excellent.
Julie smiled as she walked up to Gemini. "Hey there, it's great to see you again." It was nice to finally have a friend. It had been a while since she went to Madam Puddifoot's, and she had a craving for a b.l.t bagel and rose petal tea. "Ready to go in?" As she asked Gemini this, she held the door open for her. It was always a plus to be polite. She was excited to tell her friend about meeting Jake and everything that happened that night. A smile spread across her face as she waited for her friend to enter the shop.

Since when was she even a mild romantic? Since never. No bother in starting either. Marriage probably wasn't in her cards since it would be impossible to date a teammate or enemy team. Odds were, they'd just want her money anyways. Lou was a sweetie though, her biggest fan, and he didn't care about her money at all. Good good boy. The familiar sound of heels clacking on sidewalk made her smile and snapped her back to the real world. Oh how she loved shoes...These couldn't be more than three inches, or less than two.
Starting from the shoes up, Gemini looked her friend over. "Hilton shoes? Very nice. Love the jeans too, my second and final fashion weakness." She admitted with a smirking smile. Octopus jewelry didn't count, she felt naked without an octopus on her somewhere. Gemini walked forward then, looking back to Juliet. Tea and a bagel sounded delicious...Oh, or did she want bread? There was something special about restaurant bread. "Tell me, what've you been up to? Anything interesting happening?" Cause she was slightly eager to tell her about her time out with Skye as well as Duncan...Catching up was always rather nice.

Julie smiled when Gemini recognized her shoes. "Yeah, they are. Good eye." Of course Gemini knew what shoes she was wearing. Her friend loved shoes as much as she did. Her jeans? Yeah, they were cute. "Thanks, I like them too, but bags are my second weakness. Marc Jacobs all the way." Today she wasn't sporting a Marc by Marc Jacobs bag, but she had plenty at home. Just none that went with her outfit.
Julie closed the door behind herself as the two women walked into the shop. She eyed a table near a window, but she wasn't sure if they needed to be seated or not. "How does that table over there look?" She pointed toward it. It was a sunny day, so being next to a window would be nice.
What was new with her? Finally, she had someone to gossip with. "Well the other night I went to the Blue Lotus. Have you ever been there? It was my first time." She was talking a bit fast, so she tried to slow down. "When I was there I met this guy, his name was Jake. Let me tell you he was cute. It was a little awkward at first, but after a while we warmed up to each other. But his friend Rick Jameson, or something, came in a ruined it. Other than that, not too much." Should she tell her about Jonathan? "Oh, and I got really drunk at the Three Broomsticks with this guy named Jonathan. It wasn't very pretty." It felt good to get that off her chest. "What's new with you?"

Oh? Marc Jacobs? But that bag wasn't....Hmm. Probably just didn't feel like taking it out. "Very nice." Odd. As a child, she never would have predicted herself to be having a conversation about shoes and bags and jeans. Comparing brands and everything, very odd really. But she wasn't the stubborn rebelious girl that she used to be. Gemini had grown up a bit. Just a bit.
Sunny table looked nice, so with a nod, she approached the table and listened into her friend's story as they sat down. Surely this would be interesting, Gemini was still trying to gauge who she was after all. Friends. They were still friends though, and Gemini was really liking the sound of that.
Yes! A fellow fast talker! Her full lips twisted into a smirk, "Thank Godric you're a fast talker. I hate slowing down for people." Press was the worst, especially with her accent. Oi. Her accent. "I go often enough to have a usual." She chuckled. Oh? Cute boy named Jake? The blond leaned in just a tiny bit in interest. Warmed up? Ohhh...She HAD to get details but...Another boy wrecked it. Huffing slightly, she looked at her friend, "You my dear, are in need of a wing woman. Never go out on your own without one. Rick's happen." Ugh, that was the truth. Drunk? Smirk turned into a grin, "Juliet...are you a lightweight? And Jonathan behaved, yes?" Better have.
And her? She shrugged, "Met up with a couple old class mates. Duncan, had drinks with him, forgot he was such a charmer...Lucky he could keep up though. The Irish are probably the only ones that keep up with me. Mother raised me with a drink in one hand." And...Hmm. What else? "Skye Flashbrooke, another good friend of mine, he caught me while I was out walking Lou. So that was nice to catch up...Oh, and there's a debutant ball coming up, so I've got some major business coming my way..." Which meant shopping! YUS!

Juliet sighed in relief. It was great to know that she didn't have to slow down when she was with Gemini. Her family had a hard time keeping up with her, but she was glad to know that at least someone could understand her. "Yeah, I hate it too."
A wing woman? That sounded like a good idea. "Yeah, I had no clue. But that's a good idea, next time I go out I'll let you know." Juliet blushed as Gemini smiled. "Yes, unfortunately I am a lightweight. And yes Jonathan behaved. I haven't talked to him since that night actually." She didn't plan on contacting him in the near future. She embarrassed herself in front of a man she didn't know. There was no need to see him again.
Gemini met up with some guy too? Oh, she already knew them. Of course she did. She seemed like the type of person who would have too many friends to keep track of. She went on about drinking. That would have been an interesting site to see: An Irish verses a French in the battle of the alcohol. Juliet had never heard of these men, but it sounded like her friend had fun. Which was always good. A debutant ball? Sounded like fun. She had never gone to too many balls in her life, but it was good that Gemini was getting some business.
Juliet grabbed the menu in front of her just to give a once over. Hopefully not that much had changed since the last time she had been here. Excellent, it hadn't. A bacon, lettuce, tomato bagel with a cup of rose petal tea. She didn't realize how long it had been since she had had rose petal tea. It was her favorite. After she put the menu down, she looked up at her friend. "So what are you planning on getting?"

Wing women were very important. Men weren't the only ones that could be wing people. Besides, women needed it more. Juliet seemed like she really needed it a lot anyways. She was sweet and innocent looking after all, and the way she spoke sent off all the sweet and cute and impressionable signals after all. "Sounds like a plan Juliet, by and by...Do you have nick names anyways?" Did Juliet's come with nick names? Gemini's and Lymekia's did after all. Okay. So Jonathan was fine, and decent. Good. Better have been. Otherwise, she had a friend that was pretty damned good at tracking people down...Okay. She was being over dramatic, but simply cause she missed beating so badly she had it all pent up.
And a lightweight? That meant that if they went out for drinking...Gemini would be working at making sure that Juliet made those drinks last long, very very long so that she didn't end up with another scene, whatever it was she did.
Hmm. What was she going to get? Well, looking at the menu would be a great start. Hmm. She looked things up and down, "I'm thinking keemun tea and...Cinnamon raisin bread." Folding the menu closed, she crossed her legs, lifting higher to account for heels even though she wasn't wearing any. "And what about you?" Good question, right? Sure. Good to be attentive.

Juliet smiled. "Yes, you can call me Julie if you want." It was weird for her to say that to people. For her entire live she had people call her Juliet. But with a new out look on live came a new name. It was still hard for her to answer to Julie though. The brunette narrowed her eyes a little as she watched Gemini's face. What was she thinking about? Even so, she needed to call her next time she decided to go out anywhere. Jake might think she was less crazy with a more normal person around.
"That sounds really good. I think I'm going to get rose petal tea with a b.l.t bagel. I've been here once or twice and when I came here that's what I would always get." She smiled. This was fun, hanging out with her friend. Looking around the shop, she wondered where the wait staff was. Oh well, it gave the two women to talk more.
Juliet's mind started to wander. What to talk about? What they had in common was good. "How's Lou doing? How old is he anyway? Sammy's only three months." She started to ramble. To prevent anymore, she put a smile on her face.

Julie? that was it? Well, not like there was a way to turn Juliet into a nick name really, so taking off the t counted enough. Hm. Juliet sounded more proper and sophisticated, but Julie sounded more fun. Gemini, of all people, knew the importance of starting over with a new name. She also knew that a name didn't change who you were. So with a soft shrug, she decided she'd go by Julie
t
's terms and call her Julie now, "Julie it is. Short and sweet." Cause the t made it SO much longer.
So, Julie was a creature of habit too. She was learning all sorts of things! The only thing she liked to have a usual on was her drinks, and that was only cause it got them to her faster. The blond was very into trying new things each time, but her friend liked having a safe thing? Interesting. "B.l.t bagel...That actually sounds delicious. I'll snag one some other time though." Hmm. Where was their waiter? Waitress? Eh, whatever, more chat time.
Lou? Well, that earned a brief and rare smile, "Lou's doing great. He's the best buddy to walk with," Wow. Sammy was a really young dog. "Well, Lou's pretty new to me too actually. Only about five months old. Trained in French already." Yeah. She'd been on that as soon as she could. No way was she going to have her house torn up by an unruly dog. "Such a smart dog, what about Sammy?"

Julie laughed. "Short and sweet. Just like me." Most people wouldn't describe her as short, but compared to her very tall blond friend, she was short. That didn't bother her so much anymore. That's why high heels were invented. The shoes that she was wearing now were new and this was the first time she had worn them. She loved how the heels were clear, but the rest of the shoe was a very powerful blue. The problem with rambling was that it didn't always happen out loud, Julie rambled in her head.
"Yeah, it is really good. I should try something new, but right now I'm in the mood for bacon." Well, that sounded a little gross, now didn't it? "Sorry, that was a little weird." She knew that Gemini wouldn't really mind. As it turned out they were a lot alike, which was a new feeling for Julie. Never before in her life had she met someone like herself. It was a nice change.
Julie smiled when Gemini smiled. She didn't see this woman smile very often, so it was nice to see it. "That's good. What kind of dog is he?" She wondered if he was a little dog like Sammy, or a monster of a puppy. Even if he was a big dog, being five months couldn't be so bad. Trained in French? "Oh wow, that is so cool! Sammy isn't even trained in English. But it's ok because she is a really lazy puppy. The main thing that I worry about is her having accidents on the floor. To prevent that, I cover my entire flat with old issues of the Prophet. Is Lou all the way trained, or do you still have to work on some stuff?" Talking about the urinary habits of their animals was a little awkward, but it was something that Julie wanted to know about. If Lou was potty trained, maybe Gemini could give her some tips.

With a chuckle, Gemini couldn't help but agree. "Well, compared to me at least." The blond was sort of a giant in comparison to most girls. Not that her height was something oafish or anything of the sorts, she was simply given a very active growth spurt or two as an adolescent. Ah well, didn't mean she was going to stop wearing high heels though. So what if men felt a little small in her presence. She needed a guy that was man enough to handle her.
In the mood for bacon? Well, Lymekia was in the mood for a rousing round of kick boxing. That, and for some French delights...Apricot batter pudding, odd name, but it sounded delicious right then and there...So with a wave of her hand, she spoke up, "If you knew the foods I was thinking of...Bacon doesn't sound half as weird." Mmmm...Perhaps baked apples? Now she was just going off in so many thought processes.
And here came the shock factor, "Great Dane. I need a big dog, so I don't look like I'm walking a rat." After all, her Lou was just the sweetest thing. Yes, even trained in French, "I had to have the excuse to speak it...He's not fully trained, but he gets basic commands." Of course, Lou was still just a puppy. He still made his mistakes...Like the potty thing. Oh! Sammy too! For a flash, she almost felt like they were exchanging parenting tips. "He's almost there...I have these pad things, it's a muggle invention. But he's trained to go on there. I still have to keep one out at night cause he doesn't always like the dark..." Which lead to more accidents

Julie smiled. "Yeah, we must look pretty interesting when we stand next to each other." She could recall a muggle movie about these twins, but one was extremely short, and one was extremely tall. That's what it must of looked like when these two got together. It was hard growing up for Julie at her height because she was the shortest in her family. She wondered if all of Gemini's family was tall. Her sister must of been, they're twins after all. But as she thought back to that movie, that wasn't necessarily the case.
"What are you thinking about?" All Julie could think about was Italian food now. Any kind of pasta with creamy alfredo was her favorite. She loved the thick taste of the sauce. Just thinking about it made her stomach rumble. Where was their server?
Whoa. Great Dane. That made sense, Gemini would need a big dog because she was a big woman. Julie tried to imagine Gemini with Sammy, and it looked funny. She nodded. It must have been weird for Gemini to suddenly switch languages. But then she wondered if her Qudditch team was a French team. Julie didn't follow the sport, but she could always ask Cyrus. "But still, that's really cool. Sammy has the basics down too like sit and stay." She couldn't help but smile as they went on about their dogs. It was just so funny to her.
A pad thing made by muggles to help potty train your dog. She needed to get those. "You'll have to tell me where to get those so my flat isn't covered in pee stained news print all the time." She nodded again. It made sense that Lou didn't like the dark. He was just a baby too. "That makes sense. I have to keep a little night light on for Sammy or she's cries. I think it's cute, but at three in the morning it's not so cute." Try down right annoying. She loved her little dog to pieces, but she did need her rest. "Do you think that Lou and Sammy could get together? I know he would probably squish her, but I still think it would be fun for them."

"Like me and my twin, I swear...She's a good four, five inches shorter than me. Apparently the women in my mother's family are decently tall..." Not that she really knew. Gem still didn't have the guts to ask Kayla to track down her family in France. Part pride, part fear. If they didn't want anything to do with her mother, then Gemini was going to be loyal and not have anything to do with them. Well...Until she decided to get over her foolish pride and actually ask Kayla to figure out where the bloody hell they were and got to yell at them some...
"I'm torn...Apricot batter pudding is one of my favorite desserts, or baked apples...But I could go for some crepes too, simply cause they're fun to flip." She chuckled. Apricot batter pudding...It sounded so odd if you didn't have the right mindset. For her, these desserts had been part of growing up. "That...And I think I may pop in a kick boxing video once I'm home." Ugh. This needed to get fixed so she could fly again. Fly for serious. She still grabbed friends and went out to a safe open spot to smack a bludger around or hold a not so serious game of Quidditch...Hmm. How was Red doing? Surely McQueen would want in on a game later...
Good to hear Sammy wasn't completely unruly...Some puppies were just so difficult to handle. Sit and stay were very important though, "Oui, very nice. I forget to speak English to people sometimes though when I'm with him." She admitted with a slight blush. "Good thing Sammy's got those down." After all, without sit and stay...Puppies can run away!
Gemini made a mental note to buy a nightlight, "I think I'll steel that idea, Lou can be such a cry baby sometimes as well." It was almost precious...But very not. Big dogs made for big voices which made for big noise that made Gemini very cranky. "I think they definitely could! Lou still thinks he's a lap dog though...Just a warning." Cause that dog was too big for HER lap, poor Julie would be overwhelmed. Hmm. Lou better not be on the couch again...Not that he shed all that bad, it's just that he wasn't the best at sharing at he sat on all her things...

Baked apples didn't sound so weird, but Julie didn't know how she felt about the batter pudding. All though, she did love chocolate chip cookie batter. Maybe the two were similar? And a kick boxing video? She figured Gemini had to have an edge to be able to be a beater, but working out for fun wasn't Julie's thing. She was into more of the sit around and to nothing routine. She couldn't help but wonder if Gemini found that out, if she would think what she liked to do was weird.
Julie smiled. "That's sounds amusing. If that ever happens around me I'll be sure to give you a weird look to give you a hint." That sounded a little rude, but hopefully Gemini got what she meant. It was a good thing that Sammy got those down. "She wasn't that hard to train, thank Merlin. I don't think I would have the patience for a dog like Lou. I'm very grateful that I have a lazy puppy."
"Go ahead, I stole it from my mom. She used to do that with our dogs when I was growing up." Julie flashed a big smile. She couldn't wait until these two dogs meet each other! Lou thought he was a lap dog? Julie laughed. "Don't worry, I've had some big dogs in my day." Her mind wandered to her childhood pets. She never had a dog like Lou, but Great Danes weren't the only big dogs out there. Her father was into big dogs. In his eyes, the bigger, the better.
