Savannah was having a mid life crisis this past week. Her new dog Ollie was going through his terrible puppy stage - her brother was slowly trying to convince Savannah to move out of his flat and find her own place and her work as a fashion photographer was growing tiresome and old - only three years in the business and she was finding it a bore. Overall, Savannah was looking for excitement - something new she could invest time into to get her mind off of her problems. Several dates and one night stands later, she was still single and still always hungover and she didn't care. It wasn't like she was going to land a man so why bother trying?

The only solution to Savannah's problems, it seemed, was to buy a motorcycle. Now her reasoning was simple - it was exciting and new. Now she didn't have a motorcycle license or anything, but it wouldn't be too hard to get one, right? Or did you even need one? Savannah didn't know much about bikes and figured if she was going to invest time and money into this new mode of transportation, she ought to know a thing or two about it. Remembering one foggy drunken night when Savannah stumbled into fellow Slytherin alumni Austin Schaffer, the former snake herself hadn't completely forgotten what he managed to do for a living.

So off to Schaffer Motors she went, around an hour before the normal closing time. She hoped to run into him again. Even if he was a womanizing prat, good for a one night shag and then off he goes - he was still completely sexy. There was no denying the attraction though Savannah tended to play hard to get with cocky men like Austin. She was surprised that he hadn't tried getting with her that last night they saw each other. Maybe he wasn't a complete sleeze? But anyway, the dark haired beauty walked her way into the bike shop, looking around with her clutched purse tucked under her arm, looking at the bikes lined against the wall awaiting some service.

As usual, Austin was up in his office, pretending to do work while actually neglecting to file all necessary paperwork for the day. Luckily, his trusty assistant was there to do it for him, and all that was required of the young Schaffer was to sign off on a couple of things. "Roger," he said as he handed the man back the quill, "Tell everyone they are free to go if they wish. I feel like closing up shop a bit earlier today." Despite his assistant's quizzical look, Austin waved him off nonchalantly before returning to his drink. The day had been slow and boring, and he was eager to get out.

It wasn't even five minutes before Roger came knocking on his door once again. Frustrated, but not enough to take it out on one of the few people he found bearable, Austin let him in. A customer? That didn't concern him. Why couldn't one of- oh. That's right. He'd told everyone to go home. Considering his assistant was busy picking up his slack, Austin finished his drink and reluctantly got up to go see if he could make one last sale before getting out of here.

But oh, was he glad he'd decided to let everyone leave early. "Miss Rosenthal," He greeted his old housemate with that signature smirk of his. Their last encounter had been far from ideal- she'd been drunk out of her mind and he doubted she remembered anything other than running into him. Not that anything worth remembering had happened. Austin wasn't one to take advantage of drunken females; despite his history with women, he found no pleasure in easy catches. Where was the fun in that? No, no. He liked to at least try a little. But just a little. Getting girls wasn't exactly a hard task for him anyway.

"Can't say I expected to see you around this corner of Hogsmeade," She didn't strike him as the type to want a motorcycle... but then again, they hadn't gotten much of a chance to talk the other night. Not that he normally did much talking in the first place. Sexy ex-classmates were simply one of the few exceptions. And, he had to admit, he was glad to see her again. Taking a step up so they were standing shoulder-to-shoulder, Austin crossed his arms and studied the motorcycles in the line in front of them. "Some of these have auto-pilot functions... You know, to take you home after drinking to much," He turned to her, cocky smile firmly in place.

Wow, can this place suck anymore? The business was beyond slow. Savannah stood there tapping her foot on the ground, hands on her hips. "Hello?" She called out again, leaning her head around the corner. Nobody? Wow. Savannah took a few steps, looking at the array of bikes. They were all so - manly. Was there a girly bike? The dark haired beauty waited a few more minutes and then finally out of nowhere came Austin. It seemed like he was the only one left. Sighing outwardly, she hid the urge to smirk at him, barely remembering their last encounter, though he did look really...really good.

"Miss Schaffer," she greeted him just as he had to her, smirking as well. Ah, he had done it first. Savannah's eyes peered at him closely and then she licked her red lips, looking over at the bikes once more before returning her gaze back on his chiseled face. "Oh? Why not?" she asked, a bit curiously. "Took the day off from work, thought I'd go out and see what I can get my hands on." Savannah's lips curved into a devious half smirk and then she continued with her thoughts out loud. "That might come in handy," Savannah commented seriously and then turned to him.

"I just need a little excitement in my life right now," Savannah spoke honestly, her voice dropping. "I'm not going to lie, I've never driven one of these but...they always say there's a first time for everything," Savannah stated with a slight smile. Approaching a red and black colored bike, she studied if for a minute before turning her head around at the arm-crossed Austin Schaffer. "Mind if I sit on it?" she asked, running her head along the top of the seat.

Conveniently ignoring the 'Miss' attached to his name, Austin merely smirked at her comments. So she liked innuendo, huh? Perfect. Suggestive comments were fun to work with, and he was glad he'd found someone who enjoyed using them as much as he did. Sure, it wasn't as amusing when the person one was talking to didn't blush a deep red, but that certainly didn't take away from the fun. Actually, in some ways, it made it even better.

"Good choice for your first time. My rides are nothing but the best... prepare to feel more than just excitement" He said, taking advantage of the fact she was busy studying the bike to study her. There had been nothing to complain about before in the looks department, but Austin found that there there was certainly more charm to her now that she wasn't slurring her words or stumbling about. "Sure. If you're going to ride it..." He told her with a smile- one that made it hard to tell whether he was joking or not.

Taking a step forward, Austin placed either hand on the bike's handles and leaned over in her direction. Biting his bottom lip for a second, he considered the options. "Would you like to?" Hazel eyes met hers, a roguish smile accompanying his gaze.

Savannah was feeling particularly playful for the moment and her usual urge to jump on a sexy man and snog him had to be suppressed momentarily. Savannah bit her bottom lip, studying the bike up and down. It looked like it would ride well. Lips curving into a smile, her eyes darted to Austin as he explained more about the bike. "More?" she asked with a smirk still present. "I'm always up for more - " she said suggestively, focusing back on the bike. She nodded, looking it over and then turned back to the former Slytherin. "I would love to ride it," she said without smirking this time. She was serious.

Savannah pursed her lips together in thought. "Can I take it for a spin or...do you want to? I don't mind getting on the back for now - just to get a feel for things," she commented while taking a seat on the back, rubbing the sides of the bike with the palm of her hand. Shiny. The brunette looked to Austin and patted the seat in front of her. "Can we ride it out of here?" she asked, tilting her head to the side a little. Merlin, he was gorgeous and she wasn't even drunk - was this a day or what. Savannah was hopeful in purchasing the bike and even a little bit hopeful in getting a date for Friday night perhaps? But she'd wait and see how he played it out. Savannah wasn't the type to flirt openly - she liked to play mind games.
